Over the weekend a really neat event took place called the KFG Showcase, which was coordinated by the fantastic content creators at Kinda Funny and was a live stream announcing nearly 70(!) new video games across a variety of platforms. Among those games announced were two new ones from the folks at Noodlecake Games, the most powerful Canadian developer on the planet. First they kicked things off with Motorball, which is like a top-down, 2D take on the competitive phenomenon Rocket League. Check out the brief trailer and you’ll see what I mean.
No word on a release date but if you’re interested in getting more info and possibly getting in on the beta test for Motorball, you can sign up for the newsletter over at the game’s official website. The next title from Noodlecake was a new entry in a series that they’re synonymous for: Super Stickman Golf. Of course I’m an old enough fart to remember the original game when it was just called Stick Golf, but over the years Noodlecake has grown and refined their brand of 2D golfing mayhem, culminating in 2016’s Super Stickman Golf 3. The new game is called Super Stickman Golf Blitz, and while details are scant, the team promises “A new SSG unlike anything you have seen before." They’ve put together this completely wacky and epic teaser trailer to officially announce the title.
The deal is pretty much the same for Super Stickman Golf Blitz as it is for Motorball. If you want to be in the know with future details and announcements, as well as get signed up for beta testing purposes, head over to the official website and give Noodlecake ALL of your personal information including blood type and social security number. Just kidding, you only need your email. Hopefully we’ll get some more details about both Motorball and Super Stickman Golf Blitz in the very near future, and it looks like 2019 is already shaping up to be another busy one for Noodlecake Games. If you want to check out all the MANY other announcements from the KFG Showcase, then head over to the archive video of the event on YouTube.
