SEGA’s SEGA Forever initiative has been steadily improving across the board. While they initially released about 16 games within the first 6 months of this new brand, things have become better for many of the games over time. Since then, SEGA has improved emulation, added new functionality and quality of life fixes to some titles in addition to improving controls for others. Today, they pushed out massive updates for many games and fixed some issues for others. In fact, they updated 13 titles today and many saw big emulation updates while others had a few bug fixes.
The highlights of the big updates that many titles got include the Rewind feature that allows you to go back 15 seconds. This has a 30 second cooldown so don’t think you can just spam it like some people do in modern console racing games. Haptic Feedback is a lovely feature that many big games seem to ignore on newer iOS devices and a lot of the titles updated in this SEGA Forever lineup update include it. When it comes to visuals, there are new filter options and you can now customize controls with remappable buttons.
The list of games that either saw massive updates or just bug fixes in the SEGA Forever lineup are below:
Kid Chameleon (Free)
Comix Zone (Free)
The Revenge of Shinobi (Free)
Ristar (Free)
Golden Axe (Free)
Space Harrier 2 (Free)
Beyond Oasis (Free)

Streets of Rage (Free)
