Having launched on iOS a while ago, Evoland 2 ($4.99) from Playdigious and Shiro Games is finally hitting Android later this month. Evoland 2 is the sequel to Evoland ($2.99) and a damn fine representation of various time periods in gaming RPGs. I played the original on both Steam and iOS. If you’ve played RPGs in the 90s and seen them evolve, this will be a fun nostalgia filled ride reminding you how things were in the good old RPG days. In addition to the Android release, Playdigious has discounted games on both iOS and Android until June 18th bringing some down to just $0.99. Watch the Evoland 2 trailer below:
We’ve gone from Evoland 2 not releasing on mobile at all to a great release on iOS and an Android release in less than 2 weeks from now. If you’ve been waiting to snag it on Google Play, you will need 1GB of RAM and more (which won’t be a problem at all for most people) and the release will also support Android TV and most bluetooth controllers.
If you missed both games, check out our reviews of Evoland and Evoland 2. If you’re on iOS, pickup both games for under $5 in the anniversary sale on the App Store. The discount is valid until June 18th. Evoland 2 for Android will release at $7.99 on June 20th.
