Charming Adventure Game ‘Jenny LeClue – Detectivu’ Gets a New Trailer, Should Be Arriving this Fall

Jenny LeClue – Detectivu is a painfully charming adventure game from developer Mografi that was successfully crowdfunded way back in the summer of 2014 and destined for release on desktop, console, and of course mobile. Less than a year later, in May of 2015, a playable teaser appeared on the App Store called, appropriately, Jenny LeClue – Playable Teaser (Free). What it was was a standalone story separate from the main game that players could play through for free to get an idea of what would be in store for them when the full Jenny LeClue – Detectivu launched at some point in the future. Well, I loved that teaser taste and have been waiting rather impatiently for Jenny to arrive. With PAX East happening just this past weekend, Mografi created a gorgeous new trailer for Jenny LeClue – Detectivu to show off alongside the game at the conference, check it out.

Gosh, I just love everything about this game. While it seems their time at PAX East was quite fruitful with a great response from everyone who played Jenny LeClue – Detectivu, the real question is when the HECK is this thing releasing? Well, not-so-hidden in that great new trailer is a supposed release window for Jenny LeClue – Detectivu, and it looks like we’ll finally get to play this gem around Halloween of this year. Yes, the jack-o-lantern wearing a witch costume kind of gives it away. While I’m kind of sad that that’s still almost six months out, I’m also very excited to see Jenny LeClue’s four year development journey finally come to an end. I GUESS I can be patient a little bit longer. So hopefully you’ve enjoyed this trailer and will keep Jenny LeClue – Detectivu on your radar ahead of its release later this year.

UPDATE: Mografi reached out to clarify that the fall release date they’ve been teasing is actually just for the Steam version at this time, and that a mobile release will follow sometime afterwards. Hey, as long as we can see the light at the end of the tunnel on this one, I’m cool with waiting a bit more!
