It feels like it’s been a while since we got a new table pack for Zen Pinball (Free) and in fact the last time was at the beginning of February with the release of a Star Wars: Rogue One table. Well that’s about to change as Zen Studios has lined up three classic Universal film franchises to make pinball tables out of and they’ll be released as the Universal Classics Pinball pack to all of Zen’s Zen Pinball/Pinball FX games across all digital platforms soon. The film franchises in question are Jaws (inarguably the BEST film of all time don’t @ me), the entire Back to the Future trilogy, and finally E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial which Zen has actually released a new trailer for.

My favorite thing about Zen’s pinball games is that, while they don’t adhere to real-world physics and thus probably irk those die-hard pinball fans looking for a strict simulation, they totally capture the essence of whatever license they’re making a table for. From the music to the great visuals and animations each of their licensed tables are like little love letters to fans. Unfortunately there’s no release date set for the Universal Classics pack, but I’m sure we’ll be getting trailers for both Back to the Future and Jaws before it’s out so you can look forward to us posting about those whenever they become available.
