GALAK-Z: Variant Mobile is the successor to GALAK-Z: The Dimensional, and it’s been in development for some time. Today, the game has soft launched in the Philippines, so you can go and check it out if you have an account there. The game has you controlling a spaceship or a Mech (and who doesn’t like Mechs) while flying around in space blowing up all kinds of enemies—including space pirates and giant bugs. The game includes a story campaign but also a cool mode called Droid Battle League where you get to fight against player-created squads. That should be quite fun.
We got to check out the game back at PAX 2016, and we liked how good it looked. You can check out the video above to see the game in action. And while you’re waiting for the game to release worldwide, head over to our forum thread for more on the game.
