Are you fascinated by the whole bottle-flipping phenomenon but feel like there just HAS to be something more dangerous to flip than a plastic water bottle? Like something sharp and pointy that could cause irreparable harm? Something like… a knife? Developer Beresnev Games is way ahead of you, and will be releasing a new knife-flipping arcade game next week appropriately called Flippy Knife. I bet you could have guessed that was going to be the name, huh? Check out the trailer for Flippy Knife right here.
While I’m about as over the Verby Noun trend as anybody, I do admit that I’ve found myself WAY more into some of these bottle-flipping games as I ever thought I’d be, and they play really well to the strength of mobile gaming with simple one-touch controls and “just one more go" high score chasing. I especially like that there appears to be some variety in Flippy Knife in terms of the types of games you’ll be playing, almost like a “Best of" version of all the different types of bottle flip games in the App Store. If you too have a hankering to flip some sharp objects around, look for Flippy Knife when it arrives on July 12th August 3rd.
Update: The developer has reached out to let us know that they have changed the release date of Flippy Knife from July 12th to August 3rd.
