There has been a lot of activity around Supercell lately, and while we’ve seen the likes of Clash of Clans (Free) grow from a cult hit into a cultural phenomenon, many have been wondering what the Finnish developers have been up to since Clash Royale (Free) released in March 2016. Today, it seems like we may finally have an answer. A game titled Brawl Stars has been heavily teased on both Twitter and Reddit, and at 9am PDT an exclusive look is scheduled to be streamed on YouTube, giving a first glimpse of the 3v3 combat action in Supercell’s next huge iOS release.

Apart from a few teaser images and a colorful banner displaying the cast of eccentric characters within Brawl Stars, with everything from a crow to a cactus, details on Brawl Stars are relatively scare until the big reveal hits in just over two hours. I’m not even too sure on what genre Brawl Stars may fit into, with the description on the official subreddit mentioning both fighting and shooting action. However, Supercell have promised a variety of game modes, including Bounty, Smash & Grab, Heist and Showdown options (with the latter a Battle Royal-esque, last man standing affair), and numerous super abilities for all of the brawlers that can be selected. Otherwise, this appears to be a typical Supercell affair, with all the free-to-play monetisation quirks included. Brawl Stars could be the next big thing on the App Store, so be sure to tune in at 9am PDT for a first glimpse of what Supercell are up to next.
