‘Thimbleweed Park’ Releasing on PC March 30th, Mobile Coming Few Months After

We’ve been keeping a very close eye on the development of Thimbleweed Park, the upcoming adventure game from legends Ron Gilbert and Garry Winnick (of Maniac Mansion fame). We knew the game would release relatively soon for PC and soon after for mobile, but today we got the official PC release date; March 30th. Once the game releases on PC, other platforms will follow “in a few months." I’m hoping that the mobile release will come sooner rather than later because I’m very excited about Thimbleweed Park. The game is clearly dipped in Maniac Mansion flavor but also carries a darker, more ominous tone.

Thimbleweed Park is all about two federal agents investigating a case regarding a floater, a body found in a river. However, as they start digging more into the secrets of the town, they realize that the body is the least of their worries. The game will have five playable characters, including a cursed clown, a disenherited game designer, and the ghost of a pillow salesmen. See why I’m looking forward to this one? Hopefully we’ll get the mobile version of Thimbleweed Park soon after March 30th.
