If you’re into dice-rolling tabletop games, you owe it to yourself to check out the Arcane Quest series. Arcane Quest, which was originally released all the way back in 2012, just got a HD release in the form of Arcane Quest HD (Free). Better yet, it’s totally free with none of the content gated behind any kind of IAP shenanigans. If you like the game and want to support it, you can toss the developer a couple bucks, otherwise there’s some incredibly unobtrusive ads that appear ever once in a while.

While I’m not sure we ever reviewed the original Arcane Quest, from the looks of it we’ve reviewed all the subsequent titles. Those include Arcane Quest 2, Arcane Quest 3 and Arcane Quest Adventures. Shaun wasn’t super wild about Adventures, but all the rest of the series are really solid and I’m sure people who are into this genre will love the HD remake of Arcane Quest, particularly at the price of zero dollars.
