Drive Tanks, Build Worlds, Then Destroy Them in Phil Hassey’s ‘Tankout’

After last year’s fun emoj.io (Free), Phil Hassey is back with a new, massively multiplayer action game. Tankout is kind of a curious combination where you’re trying to take out other people in a variety of worlds online, collecting coins for yourself. But, your objective is to spend those coins to build a world of your own design, placing a variety of hazards to bedevil all those who enter, with the goal of collecting enough coins to lock your world down, though before then, people can damage your world and place their own obstacles.

It seems like an interesting mix of not just creative gameplay, but also of competitive action. Tankout will be available as a free-to-play game with various boosts available via incentivized video ads and in-app purchases, with a release date of January 31st. If you want to get involved in some Tankout madness, we’ll be doing a big Mobcrush stream on January 31st starting at 9:00pm Eastern Time (8:00pm Central, 7:00pm Mountain, 6:00pm Pacific) with the developer Phil Hassey, where we’ll get to see just how much tank madness can go on in this game, and you’re invited to play with us that night.
