Perhaps the last platform in existence to not get Retro City Rampage ($4.99) in an official capacity has been Android. I say official because you can literally buy a version for MS-DOS and probably run it through a DOS emulator on Android. But for those who haven’t done that, well, I have good news: Retro City Rampage is at last available on Google Play for Android, in its DX form and all.
If you like open-world gameplay, 8-bit pastiches, and/or lots of gaming referential humor, then you ought to check this out. It is a pretty solid open-world action game, with a ton of things to do, just all done in 8-bit format. The Android version supports Bluetooth controllers along with touch controls. If you want to know more about the game, check out my review of the iOS version, and then download the game on Google Play.
