‘Rogue One’ Cards Come to ‘Star Wars: Force Collection’ December 14th

TouchArcade Rating:

The Star Wars: Force Collection (Free) card game is getting its third set of cards on December the 14th, and – to no one’s surprise – this new set includes cards inspired by Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The game is getting Darth Vader, Captain Cassian Andor, Alliance loyalists K-2SO and Bodhi Rook, as well as two incarnations of Rogue One‘s Imperial Troopers, Shoretroopers and Tank Troopers. These guys are specialists commissioned to protect top secret military facilities, and as all Star Wars fans know, they usually do a pretty bad job at it. These are just some of the cards included in the new set, and I have to congratulate the developers for managing to time the release just right.

If you haven’t played the game yet, SWFC has you collecting hundreds of cards from the Star Wars universe – including the animated series – and pitting them against other players in real-time Legion vs Legion events (equivalent of Clans). While the game isn’t reinventing the CCG wheel, it’s definitely great fan service.
