Butterscotch Shenanigans has announced a big new update for Crashlands ($6.99) that’s in the works. The Juicemancy Update will bring a new game system into play, called Juicemancy, appropriately enough. You can channel “craptons of energy" into your equipment, letting you modify your equipment upgrade, manipulate, and reroll stats on equipment. One way that this could be used is to make specialized weapons, for example. You’ll have to complete a Bawg quest-chain to learn Juicemancy, though.
More good news for players is that controller support is coming to both iOS and Android versions of the game. Huzzah! As well, item stats have been tweaked and rebalanced, and eight additional Trinkets are being added to recipes. The Juicemancy update is set to hit in early December, but Butterscotch Shenanigans will soon need beta testers to make sure everything comes together well. If you can’t wait until then, you can check out Bedty the Yeti on Windows, a game jam title created at the Saint Louis Scatterjam:

Cool!
Can't find it yet though :(
Looks pretty compelling! Any enthusiastic beta testers or players want to chime in? I would love to hear impressions as I am pretty close to jumping on this!
Addictive and entertaining. Lots of upgrades, easy controls and a fair amount of grinding involved, but I like that. I've been playing for a couple of hours and I'm already on the second of three systems but it feels like it will have a good flow and replay value.
