‘Speed Freeks’, the Warhammer 40K Vehicle-Based Game, has Soft Launched

For those of you who enjoy Warhammer 40K and especially its multitude of vehicles, Speed Freeks, which has recently soft launched in New Zealand, is for you. As we wrote about in August, this game is a behind-the-back runner of sorts that focuses on all the Warhammer 40K vehicles like war bikes, war buggies, tanks, and many other. Speed Freeks has you both dodging and evading obstacles and also attacking other vehicles in a variety of modes, and it’s overall a game that’s trying to make the most of the runner formula rather than just stick some cars in the place of people running and call it a day.

For instance, there’s Conquer N’ Defend, which has you using your ever-growing fleet of crazy vehicles to defend your territory from the marauding enemies, and Patrol N’ Loot, where you have to protect your resources and send out vehicles to scavenge. There’s even an endless mode purely for rewards and leaderboards. I’ve played the game a bit, and if you like Warhammer 40K vehicles and runners, you’ll enjoy this one. The game is soft launched in New Zealand, so go check it out (here’s our soft launch guide if you don’t have a New Zealand account).
