Ultimate Jan Ken Pon is an upcoming turn-based fighting game based on rock, paper, scissors but with a twist in the form of special moves and other features. Your ultimate goal is to become the grand Dojo master, but it will take quite a few fights to do so. What you’ll immediately enjoy is the silly, colorful art style and the various characters. You can see from the trailer that the developers are going for fun over seriousness, and I’m all for that. I mean, you can shoot squirrels and hearts at other players or drive cars at them. The characters also look silly, in a good way. Overall, I like the way the game looks, but of course it will all depend on how it plays.
The game will bring tournaments and co-op combat as regular events, a crafting system, PVP, and more, so I don’t think we’ll be running out of content any time soon.
