It’s been a long time coming, but we finally have the ability to mute opponents in Clash Royale (Free). I know, took a while. The latest update, which just went live, lets you mute your opponent but you still see him/her communicating, you just won’t be able to see the specific emote. The developers are thinking of ways to make emotes cooler, and you can read about that here. In addition to the emote muting, this latest update has added a new tournament mode where 12 wins unlock the top prize, but if you lose 3 times, you are out (sounds like Hearthstone‘s Arena). The Classic Challenge costs 10 gems to enter and has a 2000 gold and 100 cards top prize while the Grand Challenge costs 100 gems and awards you with 22000 gold and 1100 cards. The current tournament system has also been reworked with prices and prizes altered.

There will also be four new cards, but we only get to see one, the Mega Minion; the rest will be revealed one every two weeks. We are also getting new chests and shop offers (Legendary Chest contains a Legendary Card from any Arena, Epic chest contains only Epic Cards), friendly battles, and some other cool additions like excess crowns overflowing from one Crown chest to the other (no more wasting a couple of crowns).
