Square Enix Montreal’s Deus Ex GO – which isn’t an augmented-reality version of Deus Ex, it’s a puzzle game from the studio that was using “GO" as a suffix well before Pokemon GO (Free) ever was – finally has a release date. It’s next Thursday, August 18th, releasing on both iOS and Android on that day. Square Enix Montreal confirmed the date through this classy tweet:

As well as through this more meme-worthy tweet:

Yep.
The release date hasn’t quite been known, but it releasing around Deus Ex: Mankind Divided‘s release date of August 23rd seemed likely, to say the least. It will be interesting to see just how this one plays out, and if the GO formula is still fresh in its third incarnation. But then again, Hitman GO ($4.99) and Lara Croft GO ($4.99) are both a ton of fun, so I’m confident that this should be another interesting game. Check it out starting around next Thursday, August 18th.
