If you were anxiously waiting for BATMAN: The Telltale Series to come out today, August 2nd, as originally announced, I’m afraid you’ll have to wait quite a bit longer. Originally, the first episode of the new series was supposed to come out on mobile today, on the same day as on all the rest of the platforms (we wrote about the release date here), but even though the game is out on PC and Consoles, the launch announcement now has a mobile launch date of September 13th, which is a long ways from today. This is pretty unusual for Telltale since the developer usually releases for all platforms if not on the same day then in the same week.
The issue now for all mobile players will be avoiding spoilers from Episode 1, which won’t be that easy since there are already tons of reviews out. I hate spoilers, so I’ll have to look away every time this game comes up. The reviews seem to be positive so far (though I haven’t read any in full), so at least we have that to look forward to. Now let’s all wait for Batman to get out of his Batcave and land on mobile.
