In late June developer Digidiced announced that they’d be bringing a digital version of Uwe Rosenberg’s 2012 board game Agricola: All Creatures Big & Small to iOS, Android, and Windows 10 sometime this summer. Well, today they’ve revealed the actual release date for the game, and it’s just one week from today, on August 9th. The two-player game is a spinoff of the beloved original Agricola ($4.99), which received a digital port from Playdek back in 2013. In Agricola: All Creatures Big & Small you’ll be taking turns with your opponent sending your farm workers to market in order to gather resources and breed the largest and most interesting livestock across 8 rounds. Here’s a brand new trailer.
One of the coolest aspects of Agricola: All Creatures Big & Small is its cross-platform multiplayer, meaning iOS players can square off against players on Android and Windows 10, meaning there should be a nice pool of players to find matches with. The game will also support solo play against the CPU. Digidiced has hit a couple of home runs already in regards to digital board game ports with Patchwork The Game ($3.99) and Le Havre: The Inland Port ($3.99), so I’m confident that this digital port of Agricola: All Creatures Big & Small will be a winner too. Look for it to launch across the platforms mentioned next week, August 9th, at a price of $4.99.
