It’s a beautiful day today in the Chicago area, particularly as we all come together to celebrate National Jelly-Filled Doughnut Day. I’m not super sure that this is even a real holiday as much as it’s just something some dude on YouTube made up, but really, when you think about it, isn’t that how practically all holidays start? I don’t have a problem getting onboard with grassroots holidays, even though I don’t really understand why jelly doughnuts need their own holiday considering National Doughnut Day was last week… But, hey, why not.
