The Great-Looking ‘Crashing Season’ Hopes to Release Globally May 26th

Upcoming Crashing Season looks like a fun take on the kind of gameplay popularized by Landsliders but instead of players trying to avoid all the dangers coming their way, Crashing Season is all about taking revenge by crashing into everything and everyone in sight. In my eyes, that makes it the perfect anger management game and should be prescribed widely. According to a post in our forums by one of the developers, the game is finally in the Apple review process and they are hoping to release May 26th barring Apple issues.

If you haven’t read my earlier story on the game, in Crashing Season you play as various animals taking revenge on evil hunters and their bosses for having destroyed the animals’ money vault. You’ll be trying to survive as long as possible while completing various challenging missions in pretty diverse – and good looking – worlds. The way Crashing Season tries to distinguish itself from other runners is by having you run around in a closed area rather than in an endless straight line. So far I really like the look of the game, and I have a hunch that Crashing Season might end up getting quite popular.
