‘Crashing Season’ Should Release Globally Next Month, Launch Trailer Looks Great

Crashing Season, the upcoming 3D closed-area runner, seems to hit all the right buttons. Great, award-winning visuals, quirky and cute characters, and physics-based gameplay that lets you play as various animals taking revenge on all the evil hunters and their bosses for having destroyed the animals’ money vault. In the game you try to survive as long as possible while completing various challenging missions in diverse worlds, all the while using boosts, power-ups, and little helpers and equipping your animal characters with fancy gear.

While your ultimate goal is to run as long as possible and survive as long as you can, Crashing Season tries to distinguish itself from most other runners by having you run around in a closed area rather than in an endless straight line. The developers feel that this closed area runner mechanic will let them try out new mechanics and new ideas to spice up the runner genre. Hopefully, they will succeed. The game is soft-launched in Canada and Australia for Android only, and the developers are planning a May 2016 global launch for both iOS and Android. So, unless something goes wrong, you should be crashing into everything late next month.
