I’ve always been oddly fond of games with papercraft art styles. I’m not sure if it’s just Paper Mario nostalgia, but I’m always willing to give any game that leans on papercraft a closer look, which includes an upcoming title which just got posted to our forums, Paper Wizard. It appears to be a dual stick shooter sort of affair that’s really reminding me of Solomon’s Keep. Take a look at the trailer:
It looks pretty solid, but the one thing that’s sticking out is it seems sort of obvious that the developer’s primary language might not be English. Thankfully, weird translation issues are often reasonably easy to fix, so hopefully this game gets a tiny polish pass before it launches. According to the forum thread, the developer plans on releasing the game next week.
