‘Juggernaut Wars’ is My.com’s Sequel to ‘Juggernaut: Revenge of Sovering’

TouchArcade Rating:

My.com has announced a follow-up to their 2012 game Juggernaut: Revenge of Sovering (Free) will release in February, reimagined as a free-to-play strategy game called Juggernaut Wars. Taking place in the same world of Haradan, you’ll battle with a team of heroes whose abilities you can strategically deploy at different times, with story campaigns, clan wars, and PvE trials to play through. Check out a couple minutes of gameplay footage:

If you don’t remember Juggernaut: Revenge of Sovering, it was a pretty fun Infinity Blade ($5.99) esque action-RPG that released back in 2012 or so. I remember having some fun with it back in the day, for sure. But it’s kind of interesting comparing what a Juggernaut game back in 2012 would look and play like, and compare it to what it is now: a Heroes Charge (Free) esque MOBA-adjacent strategy game that’s bright and colorful, versus more of the dark fantasy stuff. I’m glad that gmaes are getting more colorful, it’s just interesting seeing the comparison between what a mobile game in 2012 is like versus a 2016 one. If you’re in Russia, you can play this one already, but it’ll hit iOS worldwide on February 4th and Android on the 18th.

      Nah.
Hearthstone and only hearthstone for me. I am sorr to say that but it is so difficult for any other game to reach hearthstone's level.

Solforge will never look as polished as hearthstone. But fortunately, that is not as important as gameplay. And Solforge gameplay is actually really fun, with generous dailies, all for the price of free. The current iOS client is frankly quite acceptable. Anyone looking for a fresh take on lane based ccg should absolutely check it out.

I'm really bad at this game, but it's still fun. I set it off to the side while waiting for the update, and this is looking much better.

The devs are definitely generous. You get 3 daily rewards (which you can acquire by playing against AI opponents) which give you 2 booster packs, and 1 event ticket. You can use the event ticket to play 4 rounds against other people. This is draft of 30 cards, so you don't have worry about OP decks since its pretty random. You get rewards based on your wins, but here's the kicker, even if you go 0 W - 4 L, you get to keep the 30 cards! I did this a couple times (along with dailies), and I now have 11 decks that I can play with (for free), all different themes and synergy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Also, if you're worried about legendary cards, play some of the campaign (which is free) and it'll get you going in the right direction.

TL;DR Give it at least a week to acquire some cards (for free), and see the different strategies that are out there right now.
