Well, time to find a friend and have some Hearthstone (Free) fun as Blizzard just announced that this week’s Tavern Brawl will be United Against Mechazod, the Co-Op Tavern Brawl we wrote about a few weeks ago. I suppose the timing shouldn’t come as a great surprise since this is BlizzCon week. In this Brawl, you and a friend (or someone who pretends to be your friend) will take on Gearmaster Mechazod, a 2 Attack 95 Life Taunt Boss. Both players will be on the same side, and you’ll have pre-made decks assembled to give both you and your partner the chance to take out the Boss with the mustache. Each turn, Mechazod will change sides on the board, so you’ll both have to play the right cards at the right time to defeat him.

Now, you won’t only have to play together to defeat him, but if he kills one of you, you both lose; fight together, die together. Mechazod has “an arsenal of gnasty gnomish inventions" to use on you, so expect some crazy spells coming your way. And in what is a first for Tavern Brawl, you’ll get the free Classic Pack whether you win or lose, possibly to avoid people wanting to kill the player across from them. Unite Against Mechazod will start tomorrow at the usual time, so be prepared! Are you excited about this Tavern Brawl, or are you all Tavern Brawled out?
