We’ve all seen the Kate Upton commercials for Game of War: Fire Age (Free), haven’t we? I mean how could you have NOT seen them by now, you know? They even played during the Super Bowl this year. Anyway, as we learned back in June, that partnership between Upton and Game of War developer Machine Zone is coming to an end, and Machine Zone has struck a new partnership with long-time pop icon Mariah Carey. The new partnership sounded strange straight away, as even though Mariah Carey is a legendary pop singer, she hasn’t felt very relevant for a long time, whereas Kate Upton is one of today’s top models-slash-actors. However, today the first Game of War commercial featuring Mariah Carey debuted, and the partnership actually makes a lot more sense now. The commercial itself is pretty funny, too.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s many more commercials and variations of those commercials to come in the near future, as was the case with all the Kate Upton Game of War commercials. I mean, we need some variety while we’re earning coins watching commercials in Crossy Road, right? Will one of these new Mariah Carey commercials make an appearance at the next Super Bowl as well? We’ll have to wait and see.
