Well, I hope you all are having a lovely Tuesday. Mine could be better, and let me tell you why: the long-awaited Five Nights At Freddy’s 4 ($2.99) is now available on iOS. Oh, I don’t dislike the games, don’t get me wrong. In fact, I felt like they’ve gotten a little better with each installment, and this one seems like it’s the best one yet. It’s just that I wasn’t really planning on getting the ca-ca jump-scared out of me tonight, but it looks like that’s how it’s going to be.
Reviews of the PC version haven’t had a lot of nice things to say about the game, but this has never been a series that connected all that well with reviewers, so it’s hard to say how that’s going to translate to the iOS version. I do know that the game relies more on sound than previous games, and since most of us good little girls and boys have been taught to use headphones with mobile games, it might be a bit more intimate and spooky compared to the PC versions. I’ll have a review for you as soon as I can put the game through its paces and sort myself out.
Five Nights At Freddy’s 4 is available now for $2.99, a steal of a deal compared to its $7.99 price on Steam. Of course, if you’re a fan of the series, you’ve probably already hit the purchase button. If you’re not, why not check out the lovely story guide I wrote to see if something catches you?
