Toonuva Games’ hotly-anticipated survival-crafting game The Wild, taking place in the Vermont wilderness, has a new live-action teaser trailer showing off some of what they hope the final game to be. There’s apparently going to be a full-length trailer down the road, too. You can hear bits of the music that will be in the game, as revealed the other day.
The Wild is aiming to be a big, mobile-first wilderness survival game, and it’s become one of the most popular upcoming games on our forums, with fans making an impact on the testing and content of the game, which is about to enter its second beta test. It will be interesting to see how this small development team pulls off this game. It’s hardly impossible thanks to Radiation Island ($4.99) showing the genre could be done on mobile, but given the ambitious nature of the project and the small team, this is a risky game to make. Who knows how it will turn out, but pessimism is boring, optimism over the idea of a cool idea possibly panning out is a much better way to live life.
