‘iOOTP’ Baseball Simulator Gets Official MLB License in Upcoming ‘MLB Manager’

OOTP Developements, creators of the iOOTP baseball simulation series, itself a mobile version of the popular Out of the Park Baseball franchise, have just announced the next mobile edition of the franchise, and it’s a first for the franchise. No longer is the game known as iOOTP, from here on out the series will be known as MLB Manager. Yes, the series is getting an official MLB license from here on out. The games have previously had real players, but now real teams will be part of the experience, with real logos for all the MLB and even MiLB teams.

No more fake logos, as seen in iOOTP 2014.

Considering that this game trades on an authentic experience which you can then customize to your heart’s content, and even with historical seasons, the addition of MLB licensing is quite exciting. It’s more fun to take the Texas Rangers to the World Series, instead of the Texas AL team without the official logo. The PC version is expected in March, and last year’s iOOTP Baseball 2014 [appprice url="http://toucharcade.com/2014/04/18/iootp-baseball-2014-review/"] released in mid-April, so you shouldn’t have long to wait before getting your hands on some hot baseball simulation action.
