‘Papers, Please’ Comes to the App Store This Friday

If you haven’t played Papers, Please, I don’t really blame you as it’s a PC/Mac game and this is (obviously) an iOS site. It’s a real weird game that’s hard to describe. The core of it is the incredibly repetitive task of checking passports in a dystopian future. Things happen though, which I’m really reluctant to spoil on any level, which make the game remarkably interesting.

I totally dug Papers, Please when I played it on my PC, but much like FTL ($9.99), playing it felt like it should be running on my iPad instead. Well, good news:

The above image is all the details we’re working off of. It’s definitely running on an iPad, and it’s hard to say if it’ll be on the iPhone or not. The good news is, we won’t have to wait long. It’s coming this Friday the 12th, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it shows up earlier as that’s just sort of the way things go on the App Store when people are shooting for a specific date.

      To be honest, Haunt the House has been on of my best mobile game experience this year. I can't think of any other game quite as unique and rewarding as it, plus the developer seems to be dedicated to his games. A+ title!

        I re downloaded earlier and wondered if it really was THAT old. Thought I'd played it widescreen before.

      i put in so much effort in finding news about games and stuff yet i get rreeeeaaall lazy to update anything i have.

        Life is too short for manual updating. Just set updates to automatic.

      Boson x got the new levels and character along time ago.... They only thing new is really the new support for phones.

        On iOS? Boson X got six new levels and a new character back in June, but last week's update added six more levels and another new character. I think the PC version might have gotten them earlier, though.
