Auxbrain’s latest entry in the Zombie Highway (Free) series, Zombie Highway 2, has a release date locked in for next Thursday, October 9th. This is the latest main entry into the popular series, with last year’s Zombie Highway: Driver’s Ed (Free) being a sort of spinoff that uses some of the tech that powers ZH2. However, where that game was all driving in the desert with no shooting, this brings some powerful new weaponry to help get the zombies off when scraping them off won’t work, like auto-shotguns and laser rifles. Cars have nitro to help get zombies off quicker, as well. And the game travels to a bunch of new locales. Check out a new trailer for the game below:
Zombie Highway 2 will be free-to-play, though there’s no energy system, and the hard currency is used to unlock new cars and weapons early, to help buy items when you don’t have enough cash, and to purchase rewinds when you die. Rewinds are like revives, but send you back a few seconds in time to try and survive. Rewinds are also available through incentivized video ads. The game’s out next Thursday, October 9th, but both the original and Driver’s Ed are free right now in case you can’t wait for this one.

Nice review. I like the experience vs mechanics distinction, and this sounds like a game I'd like to experience.
Great review and a fantastic little (alright, massive! :P) game. I'm glad to see this get the recognition it deserves...first from the Pocket Gamer review (8/10) and now TA. :)
Thanks for another spot-on review, Shaun. I would've passed this one by, but I picked it up based on your review and I really enjoyed it.
Now that's some fat ass fish
Ha! I completely let the bullying slip past my thinking so thank you for that review!!! Good grief...I'm playing it with my son and so far we got the take care of nature bit which is fun to teach him about and now the bullying bit, we haven't made it to that part yet though.
Like I said in my review, for me the dialogue just needs to be better and allowing us manual saves will make this game a 5 star for me. I do hope they create more games for Chi though. My son and I both really like the character and the game.
