New ‘Modern Combat 5: Blackout’ Trailer Released Ahead of Launch Next Week

The time is finally drawing near when we’ll get to download and play and enjoy Gameloft’s latest mobile first person shooter Modern Combat 5: Blackout. We’ve already gone hands-on with the single-player portion of the game, and more recently dove into some multiplayer action at Gameloft’s SF office, and basically I along with everyone else are anxious as all get out to finally have the finished product in our hands. Ahead of its release next Thursday, Gameloft has set live a brand new launch trailer for Modern Combat 5: Blackout, and I’ll go ahead and let it speak for itself because it looks really incredible. Check it out.

In addition to the launch trailer, if you’re dying to get even more of a glimpse of Modern Combat 5 and you just can’t wait for it to release next week, head on over to Gameloft’s Twitch channel. If you click on the video archive in the upper right you’ll see that they’ve been quite busy this week with streaming the game. There are several new developer streams, including one from earlier today where Gameloft’s San Francisco office battled it out against the Latin American office in Modern Combat 5 (I haven’t seen who won yet, but go USA!).

We’ll have plenty more on Modern Combat 5 next week, including a full review of the single-player portion of the game followed by a review of its multiplayer offering sometime after release once we’ve had a chance to play with a full online audience.
