Last week, Cut the Rope developer ZeptoLab announced their new follow-up title with a very cute teaser trailer for a game they’re calling Pudding Monsters. Details on what you actually did in the game were scarce, but thanks to a new gameplay trailer released today by the company we finally can see what Pudding Monsters is all about. The gist of it involves working within the constrains of puzzle-like top-down environments in order to slide various kinds of adorably jiggly monsters together, combining them into even bigger jiggly monsters. ZeptoLab is looking to keep the same sort of casual accessibility that made Cut the Rope such a huge sensation, and I think they might have nailed it by the looks of this video. Of course I also love the silly art style and characters in the game, something else that’s sure to appeal to a casual audience.
