House of the Lost is a new brand game being built by the capable hands over at F5 Games, the studio that behind Pocket Heroes. Slated to hit “soon" on iPad, Lost is a rogue-like that tasks you with saving your sister from the House of the Lost, a haunted mansion of sorts filled with puzzles, randomized rooms, and monsters.
Speaking with us via e-mail F5 Games’ Brandon Pollet describes the game as “reminiscent" of Zelda or Binding of Isaac, in that “players move from room to room battling monsters, solving puzzles, and searching for secrets as they try to locate the level exit." Pollet adds that all the games’ levels are randomized and death is permanent.
