Back in January we checked out the trailer for a game called God of Blades, and thought it looked pretty sweet. It was sort of like an auto-runner meets a hack ‘n slash title, and the whole thing is set to a soundtrack inspired by ‘70s progressive synthpop. It’s pretty wild, man. Developer White Whale Games has announced that God of Blades is set to hit with this week, and has released this new trailer.
We took God of Blades for a spin a couple of weeks back in another riveting episode of TA Plays, and we thought it was really rather good. In fact, I can’t get Brad to shut up about how much he likes God of Blades. And I should tell you, he hates everything, so when he doesn’t hate something you tend to take notice. That’s why you should keep your eye out for God of Blades which is scheduled for a Thursday launch and that means it should be available in the US App Store at 11pm EST tomorrow night.
Is this another endless runner? Boorrrrriiiinnggggg.
No, it isn't.
Thank god! Insta buy then just for the gorgeous graphics and music!
I'm gonna be so angry if this is more than 99 cents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Garrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Seriously?
I hope this works on my poor old iPod Touch 4.
I don't even try to play games on that old thing anymore. No RAM. :(
Awesome trailer, got my juices flowing
With artwork this awesome, I don't even care about the gameplay.
Special unlocks for visiting libraries? LITERACY RULES!
I give them my money just for that.
Nice art, but it looks as boring as Infinite Warrior, and that was bad enough.
There is no such thing as 70s progressive synthpop. There's 70's progressive rock (Yes, Pink Floyd, King Crimson etc.) and 80's synth pop (OMD, Human League, Depeche Mode, Soft Cell etc)
I don't much like the look of the gameplay but god do I dig that soundtrack.
Look forward,to this it does actually remind me too of dark souls/ shadow of the Beast....hope it's not expensive
It's not on out on the English AppStore. Why
'cause you live in the past :)
