Well, this is about the last thing I expected on a Sunday morning, but it’d appear that Square’s The World Ends With You: Solo Remix is working its way across international App Store regions. Assuming that is what is happening and this isn’t some sort of strange Asia-specific launch, we should be collecting pins in the US version at 11:00 PM Eastern.
The World Ends With You: Solo Remix is launching at $18 for the iPhone version and $20 for the iPad. Sadly, neither seem to be universal. Square has an entire TWEWY iOS site up detailing all the new stuff included in the game. I’m most excited about the redrawn art with retina display support, and the soundtrack is even getting some new songs.
This release caught us by surprise, but we’ll have a TA Plays video and a review up in the not too distant future if you want to hold out before dropping your $18 (or $20) to see what we think. In the meantime, stop by the thread in our forums.
