New Maps and Weapon in ‘Eliminate Pro’

dualcannonNgmoco has managed to push new content to their free game Eliminate Pro outside of Apple’s updates system. So players who launch their game today will be greeted with a New Content download that delivers a new map, a new weapon, and a map reskin:

  • Runoff (Map) – Get wet in RUNOFF, our new map that features both land and water elements. Gain elevation in this vertically stacked map to snipe at players below – or dive into the water to escape fire and snag powerups. Runoff is great for gravity gunning, jumping, sniping, and swimming.
  • Dualcannon Prototype (Weapon) – The DualCannon packs two powerful blasts dealt in quick succession. More damage per plasma node than its Plasma Cannon cousin, but it takes longer to reload.
  • Frostbite (Map) – A holiday reskin of the Bedlam map.

Here’s a video of the new veritical map, Runoff:

Pinball is not dead!!! It lives on my iPhone! This is Gameproms finest work yet.

I think I'll get some iTunes Store cards for Christmas, but I don't know how to spend them. I'm getting lots of wonderful games for free this month: UniWar, MiniSquadron, iBlast Moki and now these!

AppStore is not cheap, is FREE!

I highly recommend these pinball games! :) They have really good graphics, intuitive controls, and best of all, 2 of them are free!! :)

I hate this developer's pinball games. Unless you only like the REALLY old pinball games, these are terrible. They have far too-wide open playing fields with very little going on. You want to see a pinball game that has lots and lots to do?

Check out games like Medieval Madness or Attack From Mars. There's tons of empty real-estate on the field and you spend most of your time watching a ball travel over nothing rather than all the cool things it can enter or be shot from with lights all over the board (with words on them) not just boring little circles and lights that they keep copying from game to game.

The only developer who has been moving in the right direction is Cowboy Rodeo. Look up their pinball games...much better.

And if someone wants to complain about the realism and the physics...then suggest these pinball game makes to start looking at titles like this:

      C'mon...let's write something new :)

I agree... to a point... the tables are a bit 'Spartan', but that's the beauty of them. They remind me of the tables my dad used to have in the basement when I was growing up... old analog tables with bells for sound and the constant clacking when the numbers were rolling... it was great. I love these pinball games. I've downloaded and tried several other pinball games from the appstore, but was disappointed with all of them.

I think the word you're looking for is 'sparse'.

Anyone else feel like every single comment before mine were made by the developers of either the reviewed game or a competing game... LOL!

ha ha... yeah... especially the comments by Chad. He must work for "coyboy rodeo" :)

    I wouldn't trust any comments without a photo :)

I can't wait until their next pinball game comes out - you know, so I can get this one for free at that time :)

I would be willing to buy thier pinball games if they were bundled in one app and they kept updating it with new pinball machines like a certain other pinball app I have did...I wouldn't mind spending $3-$4 on one app if Gameprom did that. Buying just one app with only one pinball table to me feels cheap and a total waste, even if it is just 99 cents

Great pinballs! - my wife and I love them all...and no am not one of the devs lol

Their promotion of giving away 2 of the pinballs for free is a very nice gesture indeed...

To be honest, while I was gaga for the first and over the moon for the second, I think they've gone a bit downhill. While the physics are still great, and I like the attempt to use the accelerometer to change the view (like Zen Rollercoaster), the graphics themselves look a bit too 8-bit and cartoony (yeah, I know, that's probably intentional), and the layout is a bit worse. And I really dislike the obstructions, which hinder the game a lot more than it would a real table.

Wasn't a big fan of Wild West (nice "feel", but the table is pretty sparse), so I skipped The Deep until now…but grabbed it when it was free, and I'm glad I did. It's quite a bit more interesting and fun than Wild West. And now I think I'll check out Jungle Style.

    Thanks for the tip.

Check out BITS pinball. http://ballinthesystem.com/ I came across it by chance and became addicted to it pretty quick. The table is fast and fun and there's plenty to do!

I really like the Avatar 3D film, particularly the story line, not solely it brings a very new feelings however eye opening thoughts of humanity. I heard the New Avatar 2 is comming soon, cannot wait to see it again...!
