Last month we posted a preview of iPhone developer Nitako‘s upcoming 2D platformer Rasta Monkey. This morning Nitako founder Noam Abta made a forum post indicating that the game has been submitted to the App Store and should be available very shortly.
Noam indicates that he wants to stay in close touch with the iPhone gaming community and intends to keep people up to date on Nitako’s latest.
The community here is truly awesome and after being contacted by mike lane (known here as le’deuche123) who suggested we talk on the forums more often, we decided we need to be more in touch with you people. So from now on we will keep you updated with all of Nitako’s activities. Any questions or suggestions will be more than welcomed.
We’re very happy to see so many developers, like Noam, spending time in active dialogue with iPhone gamers in our forums. It’s something you really don’t find in connection with more traditional game consoles.
Noam just released a new gameplay video that provides a glimpse of the finished product.
Readers seem pretty excited about this one. We’ll take a closer look at Rasta Monkey when it hits the App Store. In the mean time, have a look at the browser-based version (requires the Unity web plug-in).
