Universal Tiny Bombers - Endless procedural bomberman mechanics

    Here is a GIF demonstrating how a concept art was made. :D

    So basically, our talented artist first poses the setup in Blender then gets renders from there. Then paints over that layer by layer as can be seen in the GIF.

    As for our release. We are thinking of releasing it for iOS in late January or early February. Playstation 4 and Xbox One releases will be sometime around Q3 2017.

    Hi everyone !

    Here is a sneak peek of our upcoming game trailer:


    It is still work in progress. Currently it is in a much better shape, however, we are still waiting for 3d renders to complete. We are rendering it all in 4k 60FPS, so it is going to look juicy ! :D

    If anyone has any feedback, we would be very glad to hear it !

    I also would like to let you guys know that we are in planning stage of a Apple TV port. We will at least experiment with possible input mechanics with Apple TV remote. It is possible that it just won't work and we will need to give up the idea, or modify the game to make it work.

    Current build on test flight can switch to horizontal and vertical mode at will during gameplay. Which makes the game a lot more natural to play in iPads. I hope you guys like this feature as well ! :D

    Hi everyone !

    We would like to modify the character's names a little bit, to make the a bit more catchy.. We were looking for some ideas. We would be very glad if you guys could give some ideas :D Here are screenshots of some of the characters.

    We have very good progress with the Apple TV port ! :D It should be practically working right now. However, we need help with that as well. We need some testers on test flight. We would highly appreciate if an Apple TV owner could try it out and let us know how it works. We only could test on the simulator so far :(

    Hello ! :D

    We are more or less done with the Apple TV port. Game works great there !
    We also added a new bonus feature for Apple TV owners: Local Co-op ! :D

    This works using the Tiny Bombers game on your iPhone or iPad as an additional controller to the Apple TV. Input data is sent trough wifi, both players look at the TV basically, phone only acts as a controller. This works great though ! :D

    Hi Everyone!

    We are coming closer to our release date. We are also hard at work on the PC/Console version (will be called "Tiny Bombers: SUPREME"). SUPREME version will be full of interesting game modes, mainly focused on local coop. Here is a gif of an interesting mode:

    Hello!

    We are very very close to the release at this point. Just ironing some bugs, optimizing things etc.

    Current planned release date is 17th March !

    If anyone wants to test the game via test flight. Please let me know ! :D

    Been playing the game for a few days and have to say it's a lot of fun! You definitely have to move quickly and place the bombs fast or else you basically fall off the edge of the earth.
    Playing on my iPhone 6 is ok but probably better on a larger screen such as an iPad.
    Wonder if there is going to be support for mifi controllers in the near future?

    Thanks a lot for the feedback!
    We are in the process of adding controller support. Basic support should be in the next test flight update, with the following update we should have more or less full analog control of the character via controller.

    We do have plans. However, not for this version of the game. We already started dreaming about "Tiny Bombers 2". Online only, and cross play for many platforms. However, it is just a dream for now :D No work has started for it yet. Currently PC/PS4/XB1 version of Tiny Bombers is in the works.

    Hi,

    We made a shorter cut of our trailer video as our Launch Trailer.

    You can see it here. Would be great to get some feedback !



    This is basically a version of the longer trailer, with cinematic parts shortened from 20 secs to 6 secs in total. Keeps it much more interesting in my opinion.

    Please check the facts before making such accusations :)
    We demoed the game to many publishers in it's current state in Digital Dragons 2016 on 16th May 2016. We believe if any 'borrowing' was going on, it was the other way around.

    Here is a picture of our team with legendary John Romero, at Digital Dragons 2016. You can see Tiny Bombers running on the right side on vertical display.

    This teaches us to never show early stage demos in public :)

    Hours away from the release ! :D YAYYYY ! :D

    We already have a patch to be pushed right after the initial release. This patch improves controls a lot. We already had some very basic prediction which allowed character to get out of corners with a single move. Now it is quite more complex, it can do the same in more cases. I hope you guys will like it ! :D

    Our current thinking is 23rd March 17:00 PM CET, which corresponds to 23rd March 09:00 AM PDT.
