Taking the core mechanics of Bomberman and making it endless and “Crossy Road-ified" isn’t a new concept, as Blast Blitz (Free) showed us when it released last summer. But it doesn’t mean the idea of an endless Bomberman should stop there, and Ahoy Games hopes to leave their mark on this genre mashup when they release Tiny Bombers later this month. Use bombs to clear your path and defeat enemies (while hopefully avoiding blowing yourself up in the process) as you can see how far you can get in an endless level. Check out the trailer for Tiny Bombers to see it in action.
What’s interesting is that Tiny Bombers has been in production since at least last June, and checking out the game’s thread in our forums gives you a neat look at how it has evolved over the past nine months or so. Also, the game will be available on the Apple TV and will include a local co-op mode, which as we all know is where classic Bomberman truly shines. While there have been a few attempts at Bomberman-likes on mobile, I feel like none have really hit the nail on the head yet, and it’s a perfect type of game for the platform so hopefully Tiny Bombers will deliver when it arrives on March 23rd.

First, I'm kind of embarrassed to share some excitement for a video game movie starring The Rock.
Second, however, I can use as an excuse the fact that I once had my name in the back of Nintendo Power magazine in the late '80s for having THE high score in the original NES Rampage.
Third, the PS2 game War Of The Monsters is a much better kaiju game than Rampage. It's criminally under appreciated.
Finally, I'm not at all interested in this game, because the fun of these games is (for me) all about actually controlling the monsters.
You lost me at Clash of Clans city builder.
^You're right, War of the Monsters is really good but my favorite is King of the Monsters. I remember dumping quarters in the Neo Geo arcade machine at the bowling alley.
So basically a coc clone with rampage skin... Too bad.
I tried this a couple of months ago completely unaware of the CoTC genre (I know, where have I been?). It was fun for a while but the grind became quickly apparent and I quickly saw the future and deleted it. It's well produced and the monsters are fun but nothing special here IMO.
