Im afraid that's a little to much to ask for here in this thread, most people are just hoping for a release at all! xD

I meant for the iPad version of course, I've been flitting between this and the iPad thread and got confused :), I'll still be buying the iPhone version too when it comes out eventually, my guess is the retina display on my iPhone 4 is gonna make this look absolutely amazing, plus I think it will be a lot less cumbersome to switch orientation on the phone than it will on iPad for battles.
Trouble is there's just absolutely no way in the world I'm gonna be able to resist buying the iPad version the second it gets released just to get my fix!

Saw this via twitter a moment ago too: http://blog.machinima.com/insidegaming/2011/03/16/superbrothers-sword-sworcery-ep/

I know the teaser has been out a while, I was referring to the fact that someone had done a bit of a write up on it, albeit very short, I've been scanning twitter and various websites for the last week looking for any info on it and and anything fresh is welcome.

Just found this in my inbox. Did a quick scan of the thread and didn't find it in its entirety. However, if this is a double-post, mods feel free to delete:

    /////////////////////////////////////////////// AROUND THE VERNAL EQUINOX

Ladies & gentlemen, the day & the night are in balance.
Our technology partners at Apple Inc. have approved the iPad edition of S:S&S EP, therefore:

    • S:S&S EP will be available for iPad on Thursday, March 24th 2011.
    • S:S&S EP will be available for iPhone & iPod Touch in April 2011.
Are you a press-type? Why not hit us up with an email & we'll put you on some kind of list!
SPOILER ALERT: To prevent accidental foreknowledge of our psycho social experiment we ask that you studiously avoid all S:S&S EP preview coverage & any footage made available on the internet. Definitely steer clear of Touch Arcade, where lovely people like Eli Hodapp aka @hodapp will be sharing their thoughtful impressions.
Note: Jim Guthrie's Sword & Sworcery LP: The Ballad of the Space Babies, a full-length record containing songs from this unusually collaborative project, will be made available on vinyl with a limited edition print by Mr. Cory Schmitz aka @coryschmitz in early April 2011. Some of the songs on this record directly inspired S:S&S EP while other songs were inspired by S:S&S EP... the App & the record are separate entities & together we think they offer something really quite special. This album will also be made available for digital download via iTunes & Bandcamp with a selection of additional songs. Further details about this strange, soaring, soulful record will be forthcoming and of course you lovely, loyal Teletex subscribers will be the first to know what's up.
It is entirely natural to wonder why the iPad & iPhone launches of S:S&S EP have been offset, here is a summary of our constraints & our reasoning:

    • We are operating with a small team & at present we have one (1) hero programmer on the project, so doing things one-at-a-time is considerably more sane than the alternative.
    • The iPhone & iPod Touch have a more diverse set of technological specifications and each requires some attention from quality assurance & from our hero programmer.
    • Our research indicates that leading with iPad is a wise choice, and by staggering the releases of the record & the iPhone editions we will be more able to properly support the launch of each.
To anyone who will be awaiting the iPhone or iPod Touch release, we are grateful for your patience & understanding. For what it's worth, while the larger iPad screen & the HDMI out feature of the new iPad make S:S&S EP a real treat on those machines, there are some key design decisions that fit the iPhone & iPod Touch format like a glove... a really comfortable glove.

Is there a reason why the iPad version is first? I really want to play this now for iPod! :D

I hope the game is inexpensive/addictive enough where I can double-dip without feeling like I wasted money.

The dialog and the end of the gameplay video made me laugh. Sounded so stoner.

Never really looked at this but I must admit this game is a piece of art! I will ask though, I'm guessing this isn't playable on 2nd generations?

A large part of the reason the iPhone/iPod version of the game is being released a month after the iPad version is so the programmmers can make it compatible with older devices. It should work on the 2nd gen iTouch.

Urgh:( I hate trying to avoid spoilers on the Internet, especially on twitter. I can't believe I'm actually considering getting an iPad just for this! #brokenvaluesystem
I think the stoner mentioned above may be Robert Ashley (of a life well wasted fame), he tweeted that he plays a character in the game. He has the voice of a guy who knows his way around a bong or two!:) But he isn't a stoner and actually contributes to society! (see aforementioned internet radio show mentioned above)
However I will not confirm this as it would require me to watch the video, therefore failing at the first hurdle of spoiler-avoidance!
