I'm super hyped for this. Haven't even updated my phone because I'm waiting for it to come out before I drop Volt lol
I'm willing to bet you can play it on an iPad Air, going that it looks to be a resolution upgrade, extra characters and MFI controller support compared to Volt. games in iOS are pretty good at supporting 3-4 generation spans its no where near as fragmented software and hardware wise like on Android, even the latest demanding games coming from a console/pc background like Total War...although expect some performance hits, can run on an iPad Air.
IPhone 6 is only the previous model of the current model iPhone 7. That's hardly old even in computer land. An iPhone 5 can run this, because I've seen many people use their "work" phone to play games comparable to this. Our work deploys iPhone 5s For work purposes...
Tks i was being a bit daft Tks, my question was more related to the fact that searching the appstore on my ipad i couldn't find it, but i guess that is because they blocked all 32bit apps from showing up (volt i mean), but when i clicked the link from TA it showed up normally. I don't know if I shouldn't just go with volt... though it is older, and only 32bit, i'm sure it will play fine.
Yeah it will play well, especially if they lower the price # I am looking forward to champion edition because of MFI controller support which a huge deal for me and increased resolution. http://imageshack.com/a/img924/467/7S4tYL.jpg Looking at that you will understand
That's a good point. It's odd that Street fighter doesn't appear on the new Apple TV, since it can easily double as a basic games console as well. Could be a lot of factors -controller standards- no way I would play that without an MFI controller. -may not make enough money -capcom could think it may not be the right target audience on the device -Capcom are stretched thin supporting SFV, SF on Switch and launching Champion Edition on iOS.
That already is increased to maximum screen. # Volt was never intended for big screen gamers with powerful MFI controllers.
$5? Looks like it's going to cost $5 There's a gamevice bundle that includes the game, and basically it gives you a $5 gift card to spend on the iTunes store so it'd make sense that the game costs $5 https://gamevice.com/products/iphone-street-fighter-bundled-edition
I got the Gamevice 12.9 on day one after waiting months for it, now waiting to finally play Street fighter WITH an MFI controller. Hopefully it will launch next week. I can't overstate how it feels to play what is essentially a huge screen hand held gaming device. If MFI controllers were more popular I believe it would change the level of game expectations. Maybe more fighting, shoot em ups' arcade classics, and console class games
You must be looking forward to GRID then? http://toucharcade.com/2017/06/26/feral-interactive-lionheart-teaser/
With mfi controller support and other improvements I expect from capcom a better support than Volt, so more costumes, backgrounds, sounds and others!
can someone tell me what street fighter apps curently available are not 32? i buy a ton of games but I have been leery of Capcom when it comes to this title and the reviews really dont help much, thanks all cant wait to buy this one ASAP it seems to me all of them are 32?
Afaik yes, they're all 32 bit only apps. Volt is 32 for sure since I had it installed and it appeared in the "must be updated" section of my phone, and I guess the others too because they're prior to volt. The classic SF2 compilation is from the same bunch as the removed final fight, which I have installed and is 32 only. I'm eagerly waiting for the new SF, which I hope plays great on my mfi Logitech.
Thanks And glad I never bought them then it they will update II I would grab it up asap but no need in IV since we are getting this one
Yeah, in my opinion Apple should set a forced text in all 32 bit only apps description saying something like "32 bit only, won't work in future versions of iOS. Buy at your own risk" or something like that.
