*gets popcorn* This should be interesting. Did Sega continue their Sonic Cycle as iniitial NZ reports suggest? Or did they accidentally make a good Sonic game this time? LOL! Go TOFT'ers!
Seriously, no Retina Display support? Games without Retina Display support look bad, so this is off my list for now.
Ok, any that has played this game on a 3GS, please tell me how the game runs on 3GS and how the controls are looking.
People with no money will always find an excuse to justify why they're not buying a new release game. Please do so.
At least in my case, that had nothing to do with the reason I made my comment. Certain things besides financial considerations matter when you are trying to decide whether or not to buy a game or on which platform to purchase it.
Jeez, after having to read 20 pages of almost 200 posts, there's only 5 impressions? All I care about is how the game plays, looks and if I'm gonna buy it from people who've played it so I can make my decision and enjoy my purchase!

It still looks decent. your personal robot Well-Known Member Nov 11, 2008 3,606 3 0 nonverbalist Berlin #178 your personal robot, Oct 7, 2010 What is bad about the opinion of the masses? If one says "no retina, WTF", then it's a single harmless statement. If hundreds are mentioning this fact, then PERHAPS somebody over there at Sega is getting it. BTW, just purchased the game. Sonic looks pixelated (REALLY far from beautiful). And the game feels slower and not as smooth as both emulated classics. And: The new Sonic is really looking stupid. So far, I was expecting a way more impressive game. Not better than the iPhone versions of Sonic 1 and 2. EDIT: and the most ugly thing is the Sonic in the loading screen ... really, ugly. sticktron Well-Known Member Mar 2, 2009 1,087 0 0 Canada http://sticktron.com #179 sticktron, Oct 7, 2010 Retina graphics don't make a big difference in Sonic due to it being largely 2D. It also slows down the game to render 4x the pixels, so perhaps SEGA felt it wasn't worth it. sticktron Well-Known Member Mar 2, 2009 1,087 0 0 Canada http://sticktron.com #180 sticktron, Oct 7, 2010 That was a picture of the game running at 960x640 (via Retinasizer).
