The game's pretty fantastic, the controls are spot-on, and the freemium model has been pretty much balanced for me so far. rIcHrAnDoM Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Nov 17, 2008 7,936 30 38 Steelworker/Welder Indiana, USA #4 rIcHrAnDoM, Aug 26, 2015 Woo hoo! Looks great and FDG published makes this one a no-brainier for me. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 999 113 #5 ste86uk, Aug 26, 2015 Last edited: Aug 26, 2015 How are the graphics when your actually playing? As for the music I pretty much play most things with no sound while watching TV. The only games I ever really liked the music from were slayer pinball and bardbarian. redribbon Well-Known Member Jun 11, 2010 2,799 53 48 entepreanur, programmer #10 redribbon, Aug 26, 2015 The Gameplay: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Korbinian@FDG FDG Entertainment<br />Producer Patreon Studio Aug 30, 2012 196 0 0 #11 Korbinian@FDG, Aug 27, 2015 Glad you like the music. The bonus for hitting the same colour multiple times is good too although sometimes very hard to do especially with multi balls! I like how the map gets coloured in as you progress too and that things unlock slowly as you progress. Although one small gripe is that getting 3 stars often feels very difficult maybe even unfairly so, unless I'm missing something? Anyhow I purchased the full deal to support the app as I'll certainly play more, but I never continue on until I get 3 stars which can be frustrating when it's made very hard to get. I recommend anyone interested try the game though it's well polished and changes up the regular formula. Edit: Just have to say again that the star scores seem hard to achieve any trick to it? It seems like you have to eliminate each colour through the multi hits on that one colour. Which I hope not as that often seems near impossible. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 999 113 #15 ste86uk, Aug 27, 2015 I see after more time with the game it seems you need to progress on 2 stars with some levels until you get a score booster and then return to older levels to get the third star. Is that how it is intentionally or can you get 3 on all of them first try? Also surprised nobody else is in this thread yet? It's a free game to play and it's a nice twist on the breaker mechanics. The polish here is off the charts. Very impressive. Just made it to world 2, and really enjoying it. Re: stars - I was also worried, but around rank 5 I got a prompt basically saying you should level up then go back to 3 star earlier boards. I'm not that skilled, so I'll probably wait for the second bonus increase before I go back. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 999 113 #18 ste86uk, Aug 28, 2015 That's what made me think after I got rank 5 and the bonus so I thought maybe it goes like that through the game. Although I wish the dev was around to answer what I asked a few posts ago about it. I suppose they are resting up after all the work up to release though! I didn't have time to get as far as world 2 yet since I kept trying to 3 star everything which seems impossible first pass on many levels. Glad to see some others here and enjoying the game too though : ) ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 999 113 #19 ste86uk, Aug 28, 2015 Last edited: Aug 28, 2015 I really like the game the further I go the better it gets with new mechanics unlocking. But I feel like the star system needs adjusting, I hate timers I prefer to do things in my own time but I just completed a level with no balls lost and in 16 seconds yet I still barely got 2 stars! Edit: also unless the ad's make you a lot of money it would seem fair that adverts that sometimes randomly pop up are disabled once you purchase. The ones to watch for bonus items are fine though. Also I stopped getting achievements for the pictures being filled in. comingTouch.com Well-Known Member Jun 10, 2014 323 0 0 #20 comingTouch.com, Aug 28, 2015 OFFICIAL GAMEPLAY TRAILER: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
