I've completed 4 assault missions but still can't get back to the sniper missions. Anyone? Sniper Caz Active Member Oct 9, 2015 38 0 0 Community Manager Vancouver, BC #7 Sniper Caz, Nov 18, 2015 On the left side of the screen you should see the "Assault" button. From there you can scroll back UP to the other Mission types in that Region. Hope that helps! On the top left there are also left/right buttons to move between regions. H4nd0fg0d Well-Known Member Mar 30, 2010 1,905 0 36 #8 H4nd0fg0d, Nov 18, 2015 I'll stick with Hitman, for whatever that's worth. Played 6 missions deleted. Way too jaded for this one. jpgold Well-Known Member Sep 21, 2012 1,818 56 48 Online Ad Sales - Pandora New York, NY #9 jpgold, Nov 18, 2015 Agree. Played for 30 min, deleted, and redownloaded Hitman Sniper to play again from scratch. Not paying for "perks" and being forced to pay for weapon upgrades in order to progress. Would be a decent game if it was premium. chief78 Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2012 2,317 7 38 #10 chief78, Nov 18, 2015 This will be offensive to some, tolerable to others, and for those who just want good sniping and want to pay a good amount of money to progress, fun. I like the PvP, and the story missions are passable. What I don't like is when I headshot a dude and he's still alive because the mission requires a higher damage level. I also don't appreciate my accuracy rating needing to be higher in PvP to where even though I've clearly lined up a headshot, I somehow miss. That is where this game is going to draw a very sharp line that many folks won't cross....i.e. delete. I'll stick it out for a bit, but this is literally every damn sniper game (except for Hitman Sniper) on the app store. Just give me my damn headshot and insta-kill. The realism stops there, and the pay-to-win and grinding heavily sets in. If it weren't for the PvP aspect, I probably would've already deleted this.... Sniper Caz Active Member Oct 9, 2015 38 0 0 Community Manager Vancouver, BC #11 Sniper Caz, Nov 18, 2015 It's actually really easy to complete all the missions without spending any money. You might not get all the Premium weapons you want but you don't actually need those to complete any of the missions. chief78 Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2012 2,317 7 38 #12 chief78, Nov 18, 2015 Hmmmm, but I'm on the 2nd area and I had to buy a new sniper rifle because my damage output on the standard one was maxed out at too low a rating. So, I did. How come I have to inmediatley upgrade the damage output after spending $5300+ on a new sniper rifle? Because I had bought a shotgun to try clearing a few breach missions and grind cash, I now don't have enough money to pay for this upgrade. I can't run another breach mission because my shotgun damage is too low and costs more than I have to upgrade (and I am FORCED to upgrade, as in there is nothing that will allow me to run this mission until I do). I ran as many assault missions as I could but am now stuck to where I can't proceed because the enemy is too powerful and it's taking multiple shots to take guys down. And finally, there is no money rewards from PvP....both individual matches nor from the ranking tier. So, tell me, how do I proceed without spending real money? This is the crap I can't stand about all these sniping games. I cannot progress.....I suppose if I wanted to spend a week to grind a stupidly low amount of money, like $400, then maybe I could eak by until I hit another big price snag. Sorry, but this is really just like every other damn sniping game, besides Hitman, on the app store. You can go back to previous regions to for assault missions, making it easier to win, and you get a little cash even if you don't win. Since the enemy is locked into a script, it's not to hard to improve your performance. I think I only needed to grind because I made bad choices in early upgrades. I never bought a machine gun, so maybe that is a factor as well. Once you get past the third region, you don't need to grind anymore, you can get enough cash in the primary and breach missions to keep sniper and shotgun upgraded. I haven't played an assault mission in the fourth or fifth region. The developers may need to tweak the cash from the early missions. I did buy a premium sniper rifle with gold from the tapjoy offers, mostly from a call to schedule a dentist appointment that I needed anyway. I like that there are no forced ads, but I have never received the promised energy after watching an ad so I have given up on that. I think that this is a good game, remember that it is new and needs tweaking. Edit to add I have played a couple of other sniper games, but do not claim to be an expert. I have been amazed at how well I am doing at this game, that may indicate that it is more for casual gamers and not hardcore ones. elethana Member Jan 11, 2013 15 0 0 Sonoran Desert #15 elethana, Nov 29, 2015 Last edited: Nov 29, 2015 Trigger technique I think that low accuracy makes the sight picture drift rather than negating a good shot. What does happen, in my experience, is that I have a good sight picture, then I "stroke" the trigger rather than press it. This causes the rifle to jump similar to recoil. When I reaqquire the target and fire I get the hit on first shot bonus, showing that my first "miss" was an artifact. One time I stroked the trigger three times before I realized what was happening and focused on my technique. I think I got this habit from another sniper game, where it didn't fire until you released the trigger, so you could make a slight adjustment before the shot. I know that in RW there are electronic triggers that can be set this way. Edited for spelling and to add last paragraph NotCoolBro Active Member Mar 20, 2013 42 0 6 #16 NotCoolBro, Dec 28, 2015 I enjoyed the first kill shot and just discovered this one recently by surprise. Completed every region in 10 days. Did not spend a dollar. Being familiar with the setup of the first kill shot helped in immediately seeing through what I needed to prioritize in buying/upgrading and what I could put on hold. The first kill shot emphasized grinding assault missions when low on money for sniper upgrades. The region 6 assault rifle is cheap in price. Buying that one right off the bat eliminated the need to constantly upgrade the assault rifle during the first 5 regions. The damage was enough to get me through. The recommended accuracy and recoil upgrades for the assault rifle at this point were unnecessary and could be bypassed. I placed the shotgun (breach missions) on hold indefinitely until all sniper missions for every region were complete. The twist here in assault missions for KSB is the CHALLENGE encouraging players to join an alliance for additional support. I just started a new one, advertised on global chat, and had about three players join right off the bat. As of now I have about 16/25 members. Alliance members provide additional cover fire (AI controlled) or help spot enemies during sniper missions. Another user above mentioned the Tapjoy rewards for free gold. I managed to unlock a decent gear set (for aesthetic purposes only really), a zombie shot gun, and other little gizmos by just downloading, running and deleting other apps through tapjoy. Gold acquired. No money spent. The PVP was my favorite new addition. Simple find, point and shoot. Now that I've finished all the regions I sometimes just pull out my phone for a quick 2 minute PVP session and be done with it. Pick up and play simplicity. The first kill shot had a more challenging design, with a more grounded to reality (somewhat, moreso than this game) combat scenario whereas this game features the mech suit, ninja jumping, crazy power up, bat**** wackiness. No complaints though. The improved killcam's are pretty cool. Overall I enjoyed it. Quick pick up and play fun that doesn't insult or disrespect the players time (By MFF standards.. See below). There are timers for late upgrades but that's that. On a personal note this is the only game I have on my phone at the moment. I was cracktasticly addicted to marvel future fight for months on end and just cut that game out cold turkey. Downloaded this game to fill a small void while weeding off of that Skinner box. Won't be letting myself succumb to any more of those style games ever again. Even though KSB features FTP annoyances like energy and timed upgrades it's not nearly as bad as the whole crystal/biometric system featured in MFF.
