Damn, these good games dont get much attention. Very solid game, highly recommended if you still are in doubt, or better yet, buy it when it goes back up in price. oooooomonkey Well-Known Member Jan 15, 2011 6,307 0 0 Forge World #4 oooooomonkey, Jun 15, 2013 Are you kidding? Well that's a nice thank you to the early adopters. "Blah blah we make a premium game with a price tag" well I hope they realise that ill not be buying there next game and ill just be waiting one week after release to get it for free. try2bcool Well-Known Member Feb 15, 2012 164 0 0 #5 try2bcool, Jun 15, 2013 I don't care how good this might be, or whether Ron Gilbert made it, if I ever play another Match-3 game, it will be too soon. awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #6 awp69, Jun 15, 2013 Holy crap! Don't know anymore whether to be mad or sad at these quick drops. Great game and no regrets buying it. So on one hand I hope this doesn't mean it hasn't been given it's due outside of TA and in the other hand, it's also this stuff that makes people think twice before buying at launch. Says much about the desperation of developers to stay visible at the Appstore. awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #8 awp69, Jun 15, 2013 Sad but true. And it also just keeps the cycle going of people realizing that it happens more and more. The devs lose and we all lose if they fail and leave the App Store for good. I wish devs wouldn't give into this so easily, but also realize how brutal it is on the App Store. ramon31 Well-Known Member Sep 4, 2011 843 0 16 Hortacultrist Australia #9 ramon31, Jun 15, 2013 This is sad. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #10 orangecan, Jun 15, 2013 It's a great game but another reason for me to stop buying games on release. I do it so little these days because of this and this is one of the times I cracked because I like the dev and the game looked great. While I don't like the dev much anymore I can recommend the game. Seriously tho I'm sure this kind of pricing structure must have a negative effect on sales in general on the App Store?! A few years back I'd be buying 3 or 4 games a week on release at a minimum, now its maybe one every couple of weeks, getting less when things like this happen..... This is as the Appstore is. You win some, you lose some. Everyone of you should have gotten a ton of free games which are normally paid. Binching about two bucks is what makes you look cheap. I think it's just sad that even devs like Ron Gilbert have to make such desperate decisions. Don't blame the devs, blame the Appstore and all those "99-cent-" or I'll wait 'til it goes free"-gamer.
