Thank you metalcasket An incredible review! It means the world to us. https://toucharcade.com/2019/03/08/toucharcade-game-of-the-week-rest-in-pieces/
Rest in Pieces is probably one of the more unique games I’ve played in a while. The swing controls are very satisfying! Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
I’m trying to make an IAP and keep getting the message on the attached image. Logging in with Apple ID doesn’t change anything. And I’m able to make other app purchases. I’m wondering if this is an app specific glitch with Rest In Pieces. If someone from Itatake could offer assistance or feedback, I’d appreciate it.
Here's a hint on what/who is trapping people in horrid nightmares... ”She who must dwell inside a pendant of porcelain. Nightmare giver and bringer of death to whom have touched her. Awake, or forever be trapped in her dreams weaved of your worst fears.”
Ouch! First of all, Thank you for playing <3 I'm going to talk to our devs and see if we can find the problem.
Talked to our devs. The problem doesn't seem to be related to RIP. Maybe your credit card date has run out or something along those lines? What happens if you reboot the phone? Always worth a try
amazing graphics game with very bad controls please add different controls this one is not playable...
This might help you get the hang of it. Make small delicate swings to get a slalom like motion. Big swings will easily make you loose control. Watch the thumbs in this video
I rebooted my phone this morning and successfully purchased a different app without needing to change my credit card info. But, I continue to have the same issue when trying your IAP. Not sure why that’s happening with RIP. Let me know if you have any other thoughts or suggestions. Thanks
That pop up has always meant I need to verify the three digit code from whatever credit card is set up on my iTunes account. Not sure if that's your problem but that's the only time I've ever had that message.
Right. The pop up inside RIP takes me to Settings and I update the 3 digit code on my credit card and it still doesn’t work. Strange that I can’t purchase an IAP for RIP, yet I can make purchases for other apps with no problem...
Once again Touch Arcade nails it with the Game of the Week. Do we have taste here or what? This game is everything and more than we could have hoped for from the preview thread. This is not your kid brother's Subway Surfers Gothic Edition. The aesthetic and audio design is too powerful, and the swinging mechanic is too nuanced to be put in the same class as the rest of your endless runners. Well, not to mention, these levels have endings. With epic bosses that tower over the level in the horizon. This is more like the dark and twisted sister to Thumper. The game is tough, but fair, and you will get the feel for the controls as you play(swing deliberately, not wildly). This is an absolute treat, and I couldn't have been happier to throw money the developers' way. The least you could do is try it for free
