Resident Evil Mercenaries

Surprise surprise, it looks HORRIBLE. Seems like Capcom has 2 interns working on these iPhone games.

 

What the **** is this? Looks like a load of crap. The Nintendo 3DS version looks so much better than this...Even though the 3rd/4th gen iDevices are significantly more powerful.

This shouldn't even be a new app...DLC maybe.

Look at it. Blurry textures, terrible models, aliasing all over the place, low polygon count, no OpenGL ES 2.0 usage.

Utter crap. Apple should reject games that disgrace the platform, especially this one.

And I thought Dead Rising had shit graphics? Looks like this is even worse.

Well after seeing the video, I wont be picking this up. The controls are still built for a slowwwwwww single player experience. Do they not play other FPS or TPS games on iOS themselves? If anyone from Capcom is reading this, you can learn a lot from other games controls (i.e. Modern Combat 1&2, NOVA 1&2, Eliminate, insert Gameloft TPS's here, Bad Company, The Infinity Project, etc...). I know it's my opinion but I really think the controls should have more freedom of movement, and more fluidity. I really hope there will be more control options than whats in the video.

Im getting this,but why not porting resident evil 1,2,3,CV to ios. i seen people play resident evil 1 on their iphone/ipod and it makes me want to have those games on ios

It's a little bit like wow mode, but i like wow better.

 

I guess if you have played wow, you wouldn't like to play this much.

 

I guess if i play it on PC, it'll be better.

 

They said that DmC refrain was going to be horrible but I'm sucked into it. This game would probably be one of those that you really want to like but it may disappoint. I may be wrong

 

Just found out that this game did release as a beta but in Canada. My guess would be that Capcom was testing it out and by the looks of it received good reviews. Hope that they do release it

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the 3DS version. It really shows how bad Capcom's effort is, especially since the iPhone is capable of at least what the 3DS is.

Too bad Capcom doesn't want to test developing much better games for the App Store and pricing higher.

 

I have a feeling if they tried to release the 3DS version and priced it at $39.99, pretty much everyone would lose their shit and cry really loud

 

This is RE4 with new graphic, animations,enemies,weapons are sames like in RE4

 

We want compatibility with 2th and 3rd generation ipod touch 8go PLEASE !!! A big part of the customers have these ipod touch... This looks amazing
