This reminds me of how Wolf. RPG was in the app store for a day. Now it's Resident Evil 4.. Looks very smooth, and a bit better then RE D which I bought like 3 weeks ago. .. And i didn't beat it. It's very slow. Anyways, this looks a lot better! looks fun!
As much as I loved 4, all I can think about are the parts where you have to babysit Ashley. God those irritated me! hahahaha this looks awesome, and I would totally play this again on the iPhone. I hope everything is intact and nothing is compromised. Degeneration was a blast, and I thought the controls were are good as they would get on the iPhone lol

I think you're wrong. I don't know Japanese, but at about 1:40, there are a series of what to me look like story development scenes. Also, Degeneration had a similar system, using in game engine cutscenes and chat via a radio (think MGS's codec), so I would assume something similar would carry over. Anyway, does anyone know if this is a proper port of RE4, with the full story mode (obviously scaled back graphics + enemy numbers)? Or something more akin to Degeneration - something like a side story to 4? or key missions from the game?
Is this the full version of Resident Evil 4, or just another N-Gage port like Degeneration? When is it coming out in the UK?
This has to be the most anticipated worldwide release for a game since the hype for Zenonia and Beatrider.

Looks great, but I really fear the controls are FAR too clunky and cumbersome for RE4. The controls would work fine in the older RE games, but RE4 was much more of a fast-paced action game as compared to the slow, plodding predecessors. Imagine trying to take down the chainsaw folks with the iPhone controls. I'm trying not to! It was even a bit clunky with the dual stick controls on the PS2 and GC. I fear that I was super spoiled with the Wii controls.
lol imo the wii was the easiest one cause of the big arse aim reticle, me being one who played and beat both the gc and ps2 versions of the game, couldnt realy get into the wii version cause it just didnt have the right controls for me. Call me illogical but i personal think this game is gunna actually work fine. i actually liked degeneration for one thing, and hope that this game does well too, judging by the video it already looks so.
I hope this is something unique, and not just a dumbed down version of the ps2/GC/Wii games. I would actually welcome no storyline and a bunch of mercenaries style scenarios. Though given the girl is in the picture I'd guess this will have some sort of storyline to go through. Finished up Degeneration today, it was decent but ultimately fell flat because it was too easy.
